A typical private pay session will cost $150.00 for an intake appointment and $125.00 per hour for each session after. Payment for your session will be due at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, and credit cards.
We do have a sliding scale program available for those experiencing a hardship and can be discussed at your appointment.
**Sliding scale will be dependent on your household income.
If you do not have insurance or would like to use your Employee Assistance Program (EAP), please contact our offices to ensure that we are in network with your EAP. If you do not know your EAP, contact your Human Resources office to get more information.
Many services may be covered by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
**Anchor Family Counseling will file insurance as a courtesy for our services; copay's are due at the time services are rendered and you are responsible for anything not covered by insurance.
Typical sessions are between 40 to 50 minutes in length. Our therapist will take a few minutes between clients to close session, check messages, take a short break, and prepare for next session.
We charge for our time when you require written correspondence. This is billed according to the amount of time utilized with a minimum fee of $35 for every half hour writing and reviewing the requested correspondence. This would include correspondence such as requested letters to other practitioners, disability applications, FMLA, legal documents, etc. Insurance will not pay for correspondence and will be billed to you. Payment is expected when documentation is picked up or before sent.
Telephone consults are also billed at regular rates. The first 5 minutes we consider a professional courtesy to our relationship; thereafter, the time is billed at regular rates to the nearest quarter hour.

Anchor Family Counseling has been working diligently to accept as many additional insurance plans as possible. Below is a list of our current in-network plans we are now be accepting:

We are also able to work with some out-of-network with insurance providers, so please contact us for details. We are working diligently to be able to accept other insurance carriers and are awaiting final approval with many. You may contact the office to find out current status of your insurance carrier.
**We do not charge for customary insurance filing.

We require 24 hours advanced notification if you need to cancel a session. For cancellations of less than 24 hours notice, there will be a cancellation fee of our full rate. This fee will also apply to any no call/no show on appointments
*If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, the appointment will have to be rescheduled and payment for the late cancellation will be due immediately.
